The Pittsburgh Crawfords fielded what many historians consider the greatest roster in Negro League baseball history. At their peak in the mid-1930s, the Crawfords were untouchable — five Hall of Famers playing on one team at the same time. No franchise in any sport has ever matched that concentration of talent.
