The Pittsburgh Crawfords are widely regarded as the most talented team in the history of Negro League baseball — and a strong case can be made that they were the most talented team in the history of baseball, period. The Crawfords won the Negro National League championship in 1935 and 1936, dominating Black baseball during the heart of the Depression.
