Fitzgerald & Rutherford '03 - Pittsburgh Panthers Football Retro Campaign T-Shirt - Hyper Than Hype

Larry Fitzgerald and Rod Rutherford were the reason Saturdays in Oakland were appointment viewing. Rutherford ran the show at quarterback for the Pittsburgh Panthers and in 2003 he threw for over 3,600 yards and 37 touchdowns, a lot of those landing in the hands of a sophomore wideout who was already the best receiver in the country. Fitzgerald won the Biletnikoff Award that year, finished runner-up for the Heisman Trophy, and left for the NFL as a Pitt legend after just two seasons. Rutherford was named Big East Offensive Player of the Year and the two of them made the blue and gold's passing game the most dangerous thing in the conference. Hail to Pitt. This one's for Western Pennsylvania, for the students who packed the student section, for anyone who tailgated in the Steel City and knew you didn't leave early when Rutherford had the ball and Fitz was on the field.
